Local Calls are calls made in your immediate geographic area.
Depending on where you live, your local service area could extend to your entire
neighborhood, city, or county.
Local Toll Calls span greater distances than local calls, but
are not long distance calls. They may be within your area code or a different
one -- across town or in the next county. Local toll calls are sometimes referred
to as regional toll, shorter distance, or local long distance calls.
In-State Long Distance Calls are long distance calls made within
your state (e.g., calling Los Angeles from San Francisco).
State-to-State Long Distance Calls are long distance calls that
cross state borders (e.g., calling West Virginia from Ohio).
International Long Distance Calls are calls to other countries
(e.g., calling Canada from the U.S.).
